The convention on March 24th & 25th has been canceled due to the most recent guidelines set forth by the CDC and NYS. 

Some good news. The Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Board has decided for the safety of everyone that it would be best to offer all 12 continuing education credits as a live webinar. This will satisfy all of your requirements for renewal in NYS and PA. The unfortunate part is that there will not be any live-in person contact or interaction with our vendors as in the past at the Harbor Hotel.

The presenters and times of the webinars will be the same. It will be taking place on Tuesday, July 28th and Wednesday, July 29th online only. You will receive the login information closer to July 28th.

If you registered and paid for the March convention you should have received by now an email confirming your registration for July 28th and 29th. If you did not please contact me.

Please be patient with us as this is unprecedented times for all of us.

If you also paid for an unlicensed guest, that fee will be returned to you.

If you or anyone else who would like to register, you may still do so by sending in the same registration form from March. This is available on our website at FingerLakesFuneralDirectors.org

We will try to accept new registrations up to 2 days before the event but you must confirm that we receive it.

The Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Assoc. will be hosting their annual Convention on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 and Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Harbor Hotel, 16 North Franklin St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891. This 2- day event will attract funeral directors from NY and PA offering up to 12 credits. Convention: Cost $250. ($95 for non-licensed guests)

Cost includes 12 New York State CEU’s and  7 Pennsylvania CEU’s; 4 Meals, and Convention Materials.  Space is limited to 180 so register early to help guarantee your spot. Deadline is Friday, March 6, 2020. Due to limited seating there will be no refunds.

In celebration of this we will be having a drawing for free attendance at our 2021 or 2022 convention. (You choose which year you want)

The drawing will take place at Noon on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020 @ the convention.

All you must do to have your name in the drawing is be a member in good standing of the Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Association by Noon Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
